Arrgh!!! Almost cldn't take off this coming Fri to collect the certs coz my boss is on leave!!! As a result, she wasn't v pleased which admitedly is my fault coz I should have told her early but I didn't coz I was afraid she would ask me to clear my off all @ once but I wanted to use the off instead of leave for my hols. But she was nice enough coz I told her I really need & though I told her I could juz take half day off, she still put me as 1 day off... haha! But then I was thnkin, if I had told her that I need that day to collect my certs n run last min errands (which I can see will be a plenty!!!) she would have let me off. Oh well...
But I m not v pleased coz my colleagues have been told that my this week of leave is "last minute" which is NOT lors!!! See... I was sup to go on leave on 11th June but I asked her if I could take off instead coz I wana take leave next week. She agreed mah!!! Thing is, for some strange reason, too many pp wana take off on 9th July. Was having lunch w some of my colleagues ystd (which was mighty fun!!!) & 1 of my colleague was asking how come dat day is so hot... 什么大日子？I promptly replied "My dad's birthday!!!" haha. :P
